You ask me "Why?" I ask you "Why not?"

Sex education! It’s a rather taboo topic where we come from. You will get side glances if you dare publicly approach this topic. But let’s stop the game of charades and take a good look at what is happening around us. Babies found in dustbins, rivers, toilets and so on. It’s almost impossible to read the papers without being shaken by yet another horrific story that victimizes the most innocent of our kind.

Please don’t tell me that you still think that sex education is not necessary. Take a look at the crèches in our cities and tell me you believe that sex education is going to be the culprit that will corrupt young minds and instigate them to indulge it what our culture finds to be downright filthy. Yes I am  talking about “Pre-marital sex!’. If you think our generation is yet to be corrupted think again!

I am not here to say that pre-marital sex is right. So if you are a conservative person, hear me well. I DO NOT BELIEVE THAT PRE-MARITAL SEX IS RIGHT FOR US MALAYSIANS! Now that I have cleared that please take a second to hear me out, without mentally countering my points in your head before coming to the end of this article.

Let’s use some common logic here. The probability of someone getting pregnant is high in scenarios with unprotected sex. Nevertheless not all unprotected sex leads to pregnancies. So if there are these many “buang bayi” cases how many actually are engaging in pre-marital sex. Dear parents you do the math.

If well-educated on safe sex and the consequences of getting pregnant (to the baby, them and their family) how many of them would have prevented pregnancies? I know what you are thinking. If we teach them to do it right then they will do it without getting caught. It’s like teaching someone how to cheat in an exam. Yes they pass their papers, and no one will ever know that they cheated. The consequences, they unjustly pass exams but in this scenario we lose newborn babies if we don’t teach. The greatest treasure that is life is losing its value.

The question should no longer be whether to have sex education is schools or not to but what kind of sex education are we going to implement. The horror that spread across your face when you hear sex education can easily be dispelled if you understand that I don’t mean teach them the Kaama Sutra or how to have sex. Teach them what is sex? What do they mean by safe sex? Gross them out with STD’s and the consequences of pregnancy. Tell about the innocent children that are harmed because of the lapse of judgment by their young parents. (Please refrain saying sex is painful; It may harm them psychological even when they are married)Everything put in the proper manner can be less curiosity awakening and more informative.

Whether we like it or not even the most principled and innocent youngster may face a situation that may lead to a so called “passionate encounter”.  This information may provide useful in deterring them for indulging in the act or even if they do, there may be a possibility that they might actually do it safely.

If your fear is that you’re absolutely innocent (meaning knows nothing of sex, I don’t mean indulging) and uncorrupted child might become contaminated because of some sluts out there. NEWSFALSH: it takes more than the knowledge of sex to actually indulge in it. So many other factors play a role; guilt, principle, upbringing, values, common sense and so on. So maybe we could increase he emphasis on moral education, as not being a subject where you memorize the exact definition and meaning of every value , but actually make sure the understand and practice as many of them *hint hint*.

Another thing I would like to emphasize is the role of parents, guardians, and older siblings. I obtained most of my sex ed from romance novels given by sisters, media and movies and so on. My friend once said “everyone needs sex darling” the irony is she is a virgin and doesn’t believe in pre-marital sex! So just because we know or we are vocal doesn’t mean we get it on! Have the trust that your child is like that too. Please remind them that you trust them, don’t pamper or give too much of freedom. Curfews and rules are there for a reason, stop giving in to their every whim but at the same time don’t be overbearing.

Don’t get me wrong but many of these girls who got pregnant and stayed pregnant for almost nine months and then delivered, how is it that their family, teachers and relations missed this? A nine month pregnant girl staring back at you! How did they miss it? Pay attention to what your children are doing and saying. Most school flings are to fill voids created by the lack of attention at home. What they yearn for is you; your time and your attention. To put it simply; its 10.40pm where are your children now?

Just a note: no matter what they teach in school parents are our first teachers. If you want your children to share your values, you have to instill it in them since Day 1. If they do make this mistake, don’t shun and judge; if we learn to be a bit more forgiving maybe they won’t feel so scared that they decide to dump their child. Those who are pro pre-marital sex may say that if we accept this change in our culture then they need not be so scared. NEWSFLASH: I live in a place where it is ok to get pregnant at 16 and trust me if it is okay then their life tends to skip form 16 to 26 overnight. In a time where, from illiteracy we now want everyone to have a degree, this puts them at a massive disadvantage.

There is a lot to ponder regarding this but getting to the point; If they are not going to be educated about it at home the I am saying YES to SEX EDUCATION but it must be a well drawn syllabus (preferably a one of class not a subject) and those who teach it must know what to emphasize on and plan their presentation keeping in mind it’s not a conversation about sex with your buddies and not to put their personal ideologies in their heads.  Pre-marital sex after a certain age tends to be a personal choice but for those in school I don’t believe it’s a choice they should have to decide on just yet.

Stinking up the place!

Is it that time of year again? The time where everyone takes out their pens to scratch each other’s eyeballs out. The back stabbing, gossiping, bitching is once aging shamelessly rearing its head and it seems like everyone is being dragged down by it.

(f you have are living in a small community somwhere especially if you are student overseas, you might be able to relate to this. Actually if you are even in any organization it may make sense.)

People fail to realize that we are all traveling in the same boat so if you fart we all can have to deal with the odor. In other words; say if you don’t like the course we sail, talk to the captain. Instead if you run up the pole and change the direction of the sails in an aim to sabotage, you too will be the one who becomes directionless.

Don’t be afraid to share knowledge! Why is it that no one can’t be happy when a another excels, Why is it that some who excel cannot bring themselves to guide others in fear they will become more prominent than them. UNDESTAND ONE THING CLEARLY! If you used to be the one who to dropped the anchor, and now you navigate the ship, teach others how to drop the anchor. (There is also no harm in grooming them to navigate the ship) My mum says even if roll on the beach not every grain of sand will stick onto you. Only what is yours will stick, so stop worrying someone will steal of your plate!

Not everything is what it seems! If someone mops the decks, and after years they are still mopping the decks don’t belittle them. You may think it’s because they are not capable of doing more. You may be sorely wrong, they probably dint get the opportunity that you did. Another reason may be they now how important mopping the decks is to keep this ship clean and keep everyone healthy! A job many may undervalue and overlook but they know better.

Don’t be stingy with your compliments! Many think compliments are should be reserved. Well to me compliments equal appreciation and encouragement. Give it where possible (you lose nothing by doing it), one nice word can go a long way. It can encourage and inspire another, making their day much more productive. If someone does a great job at something please remember it benefits everyone.  Nevertheless don’t play loose with them either, then they no longer hold any value. (There may some leaders who don't pull their weight and other must pick up the slack,but i think we are all smart enough to tell the difference)

Criticize and question! It gives rise to the betterment of what we have (But be able to accept the fact that sometimes you might be wrong). Don’t let anyone silence you when you have a point. SO, CRITICIZE and QUESTION but do it to the face of whom it concerns not at their backs! Gossiping, backstabbing and talking behind people will not be useful to anyone. Neither do confrontations, it leaves us with a one big public mess. No one likes it when you dry your dirty linen in public. So express your concerns diplomatically, behind closed doors. If we let a lack of unity dictate our lives nothing will advance, nothing will change and you will drag everyone (including the innocent bystanders) with you down a bottomless pit of frustration and disappointment.

To sum it up; weather we sink or sail is up to everyone in the ship, so act wisely.
I am not perfect. I could be charged guilty of many of the crimes I stated above. But no one is perfect. All I have to say is we try to do and be the best we can but at times we falter. To err is human, but to make a living out of it is just downright dysfunctional. Sorry just needed to vent ;)

Lists!!!

I am trying to think how do i put this into words. My thoughts seems to be firing in all directions and i cant seem to compose it into a hopefully short and sweet blog post.

Well a friend and i had a heart to heart a few days back. We shared our insecurities and we basically had a good chat. She is at a point in life that many of us have been or will be at someday. She was trying o figure out what she wanted to do in life. My first suggestion, why dont you make a list. It sounded like the most logical thing to suggest. I make lists, that is me! you ask me to do something i plan it out and i start always start by making a list. She told me she is hesitant about making a list as if its on her list she must do it and fears she will put something she might not really want. I have a friend who cant sleep until he finished all his tasks for the day. I used to give him a hard time as i could not comprehend it. That statement from her was an eye opening moment for me indeed.

I wrote lists all my life, sometimes I do all that was listed at times, sometimes i didn't. But that is the thing, a list is nothing bit a numbered row of statements unless you actually do them. Only then they give you a sense of purpose an direction (which was why you wrote it in the first place). She inspired me, i wrote a list today like i always do. What is the difference you ask? I did everything on my list today, because i was determined to do so. A few hiccups along the way (that inevitably altered some tasks) but it was a good day =) muchos gracias '

My past revisited...

Its funny how we find ourselves in the same situations more often than not. I was going through some stuff i wrote a long time back. I came a cross something that is as relate-able today as it was 2 years ago when i wrote it. Its nothing to scream about but nevertheless its an intriguing find. How time as changed so much of me and my life and yet potholes from yesterday are still dilemmas of today...

This is me 2 years ago *toin toin toin*

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, have you ever wondered why is it so hard for you to do what you know you should be doing?
By Vicknesha Pirathayini

This has got my mind in a tangle. Being a student I have been in this situation countless times. As a matter of fact I am in that situation right know (why else would I be writing?) I am always caught in this dilemma where I know I should be studying, (with exams in a week it has to be the most logical thing that one should be doing) but that is not the case. It is exactly at these moments that I feel sleepier, more lethargic and less enthusiastic about studying. What sort of phenomenon is this?

 My whole life, I have read that the human spirit excels and strives beyond expectations in desperate times (8 days to my epidemiology exam sounds like desperate times). However, this is not the case for me. At times, I wonder is it just me? It can’t be, I assure you my fellow friends that at least one of you who reading this will agree with me. Then, why is it when the pressure is on I am more unproductive than I have ever been? I can see all the adults reading this and saying “you are just plain lazy”. I beg to differ, just hear me out. I am dead scared about flunking, well aware of the time frame and doing nothing about it IS eating me up inside…yet I do nothing… I am not purposely lazy, I am helplessly lazy!
Wow! There is a realization for you…

What on earth should I do? I could sit all day and ponder this, but to no avail. In my opinion the only thing that works is mind over matter. I agree that my body is aching, that I have eye bags even though I had a good night’s sleep, plus that I am more tired than I can explain. These are not excuses; this is actually what I am honestly feeling. I have concluded that all I can do is think I am full of energy and raring to go, until I believe what I think and what I think becomes what I am. This is an age old philosophy; it’s not something I cooked up on my own over night. But it is the only thing that seems to work for me. Whether it works, depends on you, but do not give up without even trying. Mind you, it is harder than you think.

To all of u reading this and have never had this happen to you, cut the others some slack. Next time someone comes to you and states their situation don’t jump on them with a boat load of self-righteous advice.
 Just, give them this article….he...he. I have got to go and put my mind over matter, wish me luck!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There you have it...I'm glad to say i cleared that paper by the whisker, hence i guess i should give it ago...who  knows it might work again =P

Undefined...

God is divine and there is true serenity in divinity. There is no doubt about that. Most of what exudes it is sheltered by a shell known as religion. And that religion is a never ending list of practices, do’s and don’ts and at times baseless beliefs.

How do you approach this essentiality of your soul without having to penetrate this shell? How do you know God without dwelling on religion? Many fail to remember that Religion is an aspect to God and not the other way around (then again that is what I believe).Yet society never fails to emphasize religion. They believe by doing so they emphasize God, how far does this hold true?

Is every man of religion a man of God? Is every man of God a man of religion? Something we all ask ourselves some time or another.

Do not get me wrong. For those of you that know me you would know that religion and its practices are not just a huge part of my life but also who I am. Yet I ask…

Is religion in reality a shell? Or is it just a path? I personally believe that it is meant to be a path that conditions you and prepares you for your acquaintance with the divine. Nevertheless at times I am left to believe it acts as a shell, disabling those who penetrate it who have no intention of conforming and assimilating those who nod their heads. You toe the line or you find some other place to pursue your quest for the whole.

The only common denominator between religion and spirituality is faith. I believe when it comes to faith everyone has their preferences …mine is loud chiming bells, incense, knocking my temples and doing squats (somehow that makes me feel close to God). Yours might be something else. Religion is instilled by practice, it’s taught or imparted but spirituality cannot be taught, that you will have to learn on your own.

If there is anything subjective it’s; love and God. Both you have to feel and experience for yourself to know and not everyone has the experience hence not everyone has the same definition…

Its not all mumbo jumbo...

Many may disagree, but I believe 80% of all religious practices have a valid reasoning behind it. It is just our ignorance that makes us think otherwise.  And yes there is the 20% that is full of crap. Half the time people do what they do without knowing why they are doing it. When you ask them why we practice this they think you are being difficult or disobedient. Hence the infamous words that we all have heard, ‘when my parents said something I listen I did not question.’ It is not our defiance that instigates the questioning it’s our curiosity.

Understanding is the key to enhancing what we already know and only if we understand we can share what we have learned to others with sheer confidence. So when we ask why tell us, if you give us the reason we don’t have to be told to do it, we will do it ourselves. If traditions die with time don’t just blame the new generation, they are left with no choice but to disregard most practices as superstitions just because you did not ask your parents why you do what you do!

Dusty Dilemma that KILLS!

I came across an article the other day. It was regarding a protest in Bihar in a village in the district called Muzaffarpur, where an asbestos factory is being constructed. I can see what you are asking, protests and so on does not seem an out of the ordinary headline. What kindred me you may ask? The answer is; the group of people leading the protest. It is not a group of environmentalists, research organizations, nor the heads of the village. It’s a group of students, not just any students’ school students!

Well, before I can get to what I wish to convey, let me tell you the basics written in that article. When this factory was first being built, villagers were happy as they were in need of a new source of income, the company itself said that it will provide up to 500 jobs. The school children had contrasting moods to that of the others.

This was because they had read in their biology books that asbestos is harmful to health, hence they strongly protested the construction of this factory in their beloved village. Armed with their text book they were determined to educate their parents and relatives on the potential harm this economical life-line may pose. And so they did, one family member at a time they educated them on what they had been taught in a government school. They had won over their village, and they continued their protest, to a point that the construction of this factory is now at a temporary standstill.

Some claim that their concerns are misplaced, that they are ill informed about asbestos, and ‘so called’ white as asbestos is not harmful and when handled properly it poses no risk. Further arguments are that many such factories exist in densely populated areas and no such health problems have risen. For these kids, they believe naught what is uttered from many in authority, they hold firm to their greatest weapon their government endorsed biology textbook.

I am a firm believer, that wisdom and knowledge is only worth when implemented and shared. Of no use is a man who has acquired bounds of knowledge and lets in rot in his mind, even the learned need not be revered when their assets are of no use to anyone other than themselves. These kids to me are not a breath of fresh air but a spark of fire. Their determination to educate and implement is something I feel I could use an ounce of now and then. Their sheer faith in what they have learned is what is astounding.

I recall the time I learnt about asbestos, while class was going on my friend whispered to me. You know our class ceiling is made of asbestos. It freaked the crap out of me! I can remember rolling my eyes to the ceiling and staring at my potential nemesis. Weather she was telling the truth or trying to get the best of me, I had no clue. After that incident, all I remember about asbestos was nodding my head every time someone said it could lead to cancer.

Since I am talking about the great ASBESTOS! I thought it was only right that I do some research on it. So this is what I have found. Asbestos is a cheap raw material that is has various uses especially in construction such as floors and ceilings. The only form used today is white asbestos which WHO has said it also has links to mesothelioma, lung and other cancers. Even second hand exposure has known to kill. However there are arguments that such evidence is not enough to remove such valuable material off the market. Many developed countries like EU and Australia banned it. Somehow they seem to think the evidence is enough. There are ways to use it safely but the US National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health says exposure in maximum levels can cause 5 lung cancers and 2 asbestosis cases in 1000 workers. They key word ‘maximum levels’. There are other means of protection like masks etc. Most of these conditions take decades to show but with conditions like mesothelioma people have poor surviving chance of five years.

Asbestos is it a yes or a no?
Well if you are asking me do I think that the world should be rid of asbestos because it leads to cancer? The ideal answer I would give being a medical student is hell yeah! Then again we should ban canned food, chalk and white board markers and so on. The unfortunate reality in all this is that we need all these things. Although they pose so many health risks sometimes we are left with no choice, or we choose not to choose otherwise. We reduce our exposure but not cut it entirely, that my friends is the harsh reality. The similar fate for things like the use of high heels leading to osteoporosis, doesn’t stop the boom in the industry or decrease the demand for the product, we comfort ourselves by saying that we only wear it once in awhile. Ayam bakar is alright, I don’t eat it often the charcoal won’t kill me.

Here is the thing, considering all the health risk asbestos poses and its ban in the EU and Australia it simply shows that there are alternatives when it comes to use. Nevertheless probably more expensive alternatives, alternatives might alleviate the use of this mineral in countries that can afford it.  As we cannot ignore the economical significance of this industry not only to factory workers and miners but the many that live in affordable housing that consist of asbestos. Can we as yet afford to rebuild houses for the poor without the help of affordable asbestos?

What about the countries that manufacture it and have thousands of lives depending on this industry? To elicit a ban will be like pulling out the rug from under them, shattering the slightest financial security they have. So what do we do, allow them to expose themselves everyday and ask them to pray they are not one of the 7 in the 1000? A clash of ideals and reality, ideally no man should work under such risk but the reality is even you might if that was the only way to put food on the table. A fellow friend of mine mentioned that if governments have any intention to ban asbestos they certainly can by slowly eliminating it over time. But until they come to their senses what can we  do?

If you ask a man is he willing to risk his life for his family, he might say yes; you ask him will he risk the life of his family…he is likely to say I’ll find another job. That is where kids like these come in play. Not just confining their knowledge to getting A’s in exams, they are implementing what they have learned by educating those that haven’t. They have managed to make their parents say no to a steady income stressing importance on their health. Kudos to them, it is passionate youngsters like these that will deter us from bringing a grim fate upon ourselves. And kudos to the villagers for actually listening to the youngsters! Of course yes, teachers awesome job, you did what seems impossible nowadays, you made your kids love what they learn enough to advocate it.

Coming back to the kids, should they build an asbestos factory in the village, my answer is no. If health risks like microscopic asbestos dust can cause cancer, I would not want it anywhere near my town. Factories should be built away from townships; companies can provide transport for their workers in forms of buses. Preferably no one should work in such a place and risk their life, you may say it’s 7 in a thousand, but what if the seven was your father or mother?

All we can hope for the time being is that every single safety measure possible should be taken and made sure are being implemented. Necessary equipment like masks and so on should be provided by the company. Good maintenance and regular inspection of working conditions must be mandatory. Well regulated working hours should be implemented to avoid maximum exposure. Health benefits especially regular health screenings should be provided by the company itself for their workers. In my point of view if they aren’t going to do anything to abolish the industry at least let medical practitioners catch it early and do what they can to treat it before it gets worse.

All measures must be taken to ensure the welfare of those who work for them; a blind eye should never be cast on their plights. Failing to do so, one should not be allowed to mine or manufacture anything regarding asbestos. Harsh terms, but the harsh reality is its human lives!

I know it might sound like I have succumbed to the inevitable, but I am just stating what I see might help for the time being Hopefully safer options may present itself soon. For now my wishes and prayers are with the feisty youngster of Muzaffarpur. Whatever the outcome may be…Good luck!

Seeking what cannot be seen?

When you feel lost seek Him,
For only he can guide you;

In pain seek Him,
For only he can heal you;

In danger seek Him,
For only he can save you

In darkness seek Him,
For only he can liberate you

In sadness seek Him,
For only he can make your soul smile;

In fury seek Him,
For only he can calm you;

In confusion seek Him,
For only he can make things clear;

In delusion seek Him,
For only he can bring you to your senses;

In guilt seek Him,
Seek him for only he has mercy like no other;

In penance seek Him,
For only he can be your savior;

In loneliness seek Him,
For only he can love you like no other

Seek Him genuinely,
And you will find Him in all those around you…

God Bless

A Sense of Accomplishment...

Can you recall a time when you did something that gave you a sense of sheer satisfaction and pride?
I recall such an incident when I was 9 years old. It was my birthday and I was pestering my mum for a piggy bank. It seemed like the ‘in ‘thing at that time.

My mother like all mothers used her innovative talent and fashioned me a piggy bank. Yes, my first ever piggy bank was none other than a 1kg fern leaf tin with a slit on the cover.

It might have not been what I asked for but it did serve the purpose. I received 10 ringgit and by golly was I over the moon. As daily pocket money I was given RM 1.20. I saved 20 cents per day. Every day the moment I looked forward to most was putting the 20 cents in that tin.

Once done, task accomplished! I had serve my purpose. Three months later I had accumulated 30 ringgit.
My pocket money has substantially increased since then. But that sense of gratification does not come from the 200 000 rupiah I save a month.

What makes that instance so memorable? Why did it mean so much to me?

Accomplishment…I had a sense of accomplishment when I did that. I felt I had achieved something. The discipline of sticking to it was gratifying that I was proud of my 9 year old self.

When you stick to something, follow through on what you initially set out to do. You get a feeling that energizes you. You feel gratified you have a slight spring in your step. Take a moment to think that if you go jogging everyday as you planned, even if you only followed through for 3 days. How did you feel?

Its small things like this that serves the greater purpose. Small incidents that give you the courage and discipline to fulfill greater tasks…

When you take that deep breath and you feel glad to be exactly where you are. That is contentment, and it’s not entirely down to the location you are at. It is also down to where you are in life, where you are as a person. Small accomplishments, like these make the bigger picture that much more amazing.

There is a saying; there is nothing noble about being superior to some other person. True nobility lies in being superior to your former self.’ Life is a one way street, so move forward. Keep striving and improving yourself even in the smallest way.

I read somewhere that ‘Accomplishment is the most deserved adventure!’
So take a look at your life...

Find the spring in your step…

What is so great about the 1st of January?

Elated would be the word the most appropriate word to capture the emotions of everyone here and around the world! A new year brings new hope.

It is the truth I believe, that there is nothing so special about the 1st of January.Its just that people need hope! That is what the new year means to the most of us. If you have screwed up so far, its alright, here is where things take a turn for the better, or so we believe. Woes and worries can be put aside, a second chance or in my case, the 23rd chance at making a change. Another opportunity to turn things around and get that much closer to reaching our dreams.Weather it be winning the Noble Prize or losing 5 kilos of weight.
Endless possibilities for 365 days to come.

Hope and belief is what makes this day special; as these two things are vital to our existence ( no matter how much we may deny it). You may say, that if that is the case any day can that we decide to make a change can be a New Year. That is true but this single day has the power to make billions around the world pick themselves up and make them strive once again. It breathes back zest into each and everyone who believes in it. That is why i love this blessed day.

The New Year is not like a white board wiped clean, but a diary. You flip the page and start afresh. Not erasing what has been written years before but just caught up in the excitement of what stories may fill the pages to come...

I wish our thousand dreams can be lived in this one reality
Happy New Year!

Here goes!

Rainy weather; it is not conducive for any sort of activity. Other than sleeping or drinking a hot cup of coffee. I am lying on my stomach staring at my laptop; I can feel the frustration build up in me. What on earth should I write about? I have no idea.
I cannot say I am here (blogging) because I choose to be heard, or that I plan and hope that this venture will take me to new heights. Frankly speaking I have no idea what am I doing here. I feel like a 7 year old standing in center stage with the spotlight glaring down on me. I feel unprepared. It’s not that I have forgotten the words. No those I know all too well. Writing is a profoundly beautiful way of self expression. Ever since I started to dip my toes in this vast art, I fell in love (although I know next to nothing about it). Then why is it that I can’t find my words?
I made a decision a decision to start blogging. And here I find myself, three days after registering this domain with nothing up on the site. Why you ask? This is me. Over thinking is my specialty and this new venture has not escaped my overworking mind (what shall I write about, do I sound obnoxious and will make a mockery out of blogging). I can over think to an extent that I inhibit myself from doing what I set out to do in the first place.
I can ponder on things to no end. That is why I write, to put a stop to the thinking, I start writing in confusion and when I end I somehow gain some clarity. In my opinion writing is not just a form of self expression but also a form of self discovery.
You could say that what I might be referring is something more like a diary; I cannot argue with that. It is true to an extent.  My diary is a compilation of articles; it always ends up being an open secret. But so far the secrets were just open to my close friends. Now, am I ready to take put it up for the eyes of everyone and anyone? The answer is a flat out No!
But tell me truthfully can you ever be entirely ready? Opportunities arise at unexpected times, and sometimes you have time to prepare and sometimes you don’t. You just gather all the courage you have left (wherever it may be hiding) and give your best shot with all you have at that time and who knows you might just surprise yourself.
Do I aim to be a notable blogger? No. All I know is that I feel I should start blogging. So here I am. I have no genre in mind; I might blog about ice cream one day and about spiritual enlightenment the next. So you if you are asking what this blog about? My answer is who knows, I am just going to make it up as I go along. I just hope I can give you a good read and do not leave you feeling that it was just an utter waste of your time.
